When choosing the size of a scrubber dryer for industrial premises, first of all, evaluate the area to be cleaned. It is clear that for small office rooms and for spacious warehouses the choice of equipment will be different. In addition, if cleaning is planned on different floors, the equipment must fit freely into the elevator.
Pay attention to the sizes of tanks for clean and waste water. When cleaning a small space, a minimum of 11-30 liters is quite enough. And to clean large areas, of course, you need larger tanks. They can be 100 or 200 liters for large self-propelled vehicles.
The theoretical cleaning performance of a scrubber should be slightly less than the size of the area being cleaned per hour. So for a room of 2000 sq. m we need equipment with a productivity of 1800 sq.m. m/h. Such characteristics will allow you to clean it in an hour and a half.
Based on the control method, scrubbers are divided into self-propelled ones – they are also “riders” or “rydons” – machines that have a driver’s seat on top – and models pushed by the operator.
Riders are usually more powerful and voluminous; they are comfortable to use in large areas to be cleaned. Operator-pushed machines are compact in size and have a lower price.
